BATHURST v MUDGEE
7 Apr 2017 by James Horsburgh
This weekend Bulldogs head to Mudgee to take on the mighty Wombats.
Coming off a clean sweep against CSU, Bathurst will have the favourites tag in circumstances where this week Mudgee came out to confirm that due to struggling numbers this year they would not be contending the 3rd grade competition.
Mudgee will enjoy a home ground advantage after a tough road trip to Parkes last weekend which saw them loosing in all grades with their 1st XV narrowly missing the dreaded “3 figure” defeat going down 95 – 14.
This week sees the Bulldogs women’s team take the field for their first hit-out of the season. Good luck girls.
If you care for a quiet Chardonnay, or just look forward to a reasonable Riesling, then make the trip to Merlot country and support the doggies in Mudgee this weekend.
Game times are:
12 noon – Colts
1.15pm – Women’s
1.55pm – 2nd XV
3.15pm – 1st XV
GO THE DOGS!!
